Dr. Capt Rajiv Mazumder Has Won American's Dynamic Head Shipping and Chartering of the Year Award

It is indeed a great honour to have been selected American’s Dynamic Head Shipping and Chartering of the Year Award and American’s Pride of Nation Award. I sincerely thank the committee to have selected me for the same, which will be helpful for me in my future run.

Myself Dr. Capt Rajiv Mazumder, from Mumbai, India, is associated with Ark Shipping and Services FZE, Dubai as Head of Shipping and Chartering, having behind me almost 32 years of working experience, out of which around 16 years actively on ship on the seas. Apart from having Post Graduation in Marine Science, I have also received my Doctorate in Shipping and Logistics recently approved by the Government of India.

I was in command on board for almost 7 years and have sailed globally, with many adventurous and risky experiences.  My area of work is the extent of the seas and oceans, hardcore ship and port operations and logistics, all around the globe.  I have travelled globally and thus coming across different people have made me more versatile and experienced.

I am also associated with a NGO called “BODHON”, and try to work for orphans, physically challenged and oldage people, whenever I make time from my work schedule. We have already covered 6 successful projects and into the 7^th Project due in September 2023 with physically challenged children.

In this challenging and competitive professional environment, it has been a fruitful sailing for almost 32 years with lots of ups and downs and with this Honourable Award in my baggy, am sure can successfully sail for many more years to come.
